Sutton Place Physical and Aquatic Therapy provides one-on-one personal training and Pilates instruction with certified Pilates instructor Marie Mantz.
Before joining Sutton Place Physical and Aquatic Therapy, Marie worked with clients at Gramercy Pilates, teaching group classes and privates, and in 2019, she earned her Pre and Post Natal Pilates certificate through Kinected Pilates. Marie has also worked at Equinox, where she trained clients of all age ranges, fitness levels, and injuries.
Through her work, Marie guides clients to achieve their desired goals that may include muscle strength and endurance; higher fitness levels; greater coordination, balance, flexibility; greater core strength; and weight loss. Our goal is for you to become a better version of yourself!
For each client, Marie designs individualized sessions to meet each client's goals. She carefully develops sessions based on client interests, strengths, and physical challenges, focusing on safety, alignment, and breath.

IN-PERSON Pilates and Personal Training Therapy
Marie's knowledge of human anatomy and the concepts of functional exercise designs coupled with physical therapy input yields an exercise program tailored to the client's needs and goals. Every program incorporates appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility, and resistance exercises. Marie brings encouragement, a sense of humor, and the ability to balance a sense of achievement with the challenge. The Sutton Place Physical and Aquatic Therapy clinic is beautifully equipped with a Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair, weights, resistance bands, balance boards, stationary bicycles, a treadmill, exercise machines, and TRX.
